You actually have to graph this function y=-3x-2.  
Let's analyze it:  the slope is -3 and the y-intercept is -2, or (0,-2).

Plot (0,-2) as a black dot.  Then, move y our pencil pt. from this dot 1 unit to the right and from there 3 units down.  Plot another black dot there.  Now draw a str. line thru your two black dots.  

Finally, compare your sketch to the given answer sketches.  Which match?
