This was on of the countries of mixed ethnicity that had been created after the ww1. Hitler first demanded that Sudetenland be given to him. Completely looking for means to avoid war, Neville chamberlain and his french counterpart administration granted Hitler his wish. However,Hitler went forward and annexed the whole of Czechoslovakia. Britain and France had to quickly rearm,noting that Hitlers territorial ambitions could not be quenched.
