Ok. I know if it is not for homework I am not supposed to ask it in this section. But I could not figure out how to message someone to ask them. So please cut me some slack and help me out here. In wrestling, once the wrestlers are on the ground why do the refs lay down on their stomachs next to the wrestlers and move around with them?

But, to answer your question, the refs probably lay down to make sure the wrestlers from breaking the rules.

The refs do that I think so they can control the match and watch every move. They have to make sure everything is ok. Also just in case they have an emergency they can get to the person easier or just in case they have to stop the fight.
