I believe the answer is: the Y chromosome lacks many corresponding genes to override
X-linked disorder would be passed through genetic inheritance, but the gene for this disorder is recessive. Since Women have two X chromosomes, they have one normal X gene that could become the dominant of the recessive gene while the men have 50:50 chance since they only have one X chromosome.
