The
scenario is the technique has proven to be a very effective way of treating
bed-wetting problems. Alarm is the
unconditioned stimulus that produces the unconditioned response of waking up.
The sensation of a full bladder is the accustomed stimulus that, before training,
did not produce wakefulness.
This scenario displays an effective way to control a child of bed-wetting. Mostly bed-wetting is due to a child being stressed out and cannot control. Whilst another reason could be that the child intakes a lot of liquid before going to bed which results in this condition. The parents should make sure that his/her child goes to the washroom before sleeping and large liquid intake is prevented.
The alarm is designed in way that it is placed inside the child’s trouser. It triggers at the start of urination in to help the child wake up so he/she can go the washroom
