The question requires you to refuse service to an intoxicated patron based upon the house policy? Why cant you serve alcohol to an intoxicated patron? What's stopping you from serving them? What could you explain about the house policy to support your refusal of service? Or what other supporting material could you refer to when refusing service? In NSW intoxicated patrons must be refused service and immediately asked to leave the venue, so offering them food would not be acceptable, as this would prevent then from leaving. Please refuse service again, without suggesting that an intoxicated patron would be permitted to remain in the venue.
