On the first day of school, a teacher is teaching a good morning song to her kindergarteners. She notices that a student's name is difficult for her to pronounce. What should she do?
1) Give the student a nickname so that all the students can easily pronounce their name.
2) Try to pronounce the student's name as best as she can, knowing that it may be a little off.
3) Follow up with the student and tell them it's important to get their name right, ask for the correct pronunciation, and practice until she can pronounce it correctly.
4) Go around the room and have each of the students introduce themselves and have the entire class say hello to that student while saying their name.
