During late winter, it is possible to see signs of
spring. When there is still snow on the ground,
plants are already beginning to grow. Beneath the
earth, seeds are forming their first leaves and
shoots. If you look closely, a tree that appears

Early flowers, such as crocus and snowdrops, start
to push their delicate heads above ground while
the weather is still near freezing.
