John Smith and other Christians at his time believed that a person who believes in something of great importance, something that is true beyond any doubt, must share such truth with others, even if it means suffering and death. How far does a person go to share this knowledge? To teach another person moral truths, how far does a person go? Was it therefore justified or not for Europeans to colonize the lands occupied by Indians so to convert them to Christianity?
