See diagram... Be able to execute a three-point turn on a street of average width (one lane :/ ), without hitting the curb, driving off the road surface or using a driveway. 1. Give proper signal and stop close to the right edge of the pavement.
2. Look over your left shoulder and check traffic behind you. Do not depend on your rearview mirror alone; be sure the way is clear both ahead and behind.
3. Signal for a left turn and begin the execution of the first point-
a. arc left forward to the edge,
b. arc right back to the edge,
c. pull forward out of the turn going into the proper lane). Check the traffic up and down the road at each point (mirrors and shoulders)
When performing this maneuver, all approaching traffic will have the right of way.
