Write a final draft of your report
Write a rough draft of your fact and opinion report.
Remember that your report will be on one side of a controversial topic. You may share facts about both sides of a position, but you will explain why your stand is the better choice. You will do this by supporting that side of the position with your opinions in an effort to persuade your reader to also support your side of the argument. Use your notes and outline (if completed) to begin writing.
Once you have completed the draft, ask someone else to read it. Another person can tell you whether you have shown evidence of for your opinions and if you have sequenced your facts and ideas in a logical order. When editing, pay attention to punctuation, spelling, and grammar. Your final report should be at least 200 words long.
After discussing your draft with someone else, make the necessary corrections to it and rewrite the report into its final form. Then, you will submit the final paper.
