Jenny's Statement:

It's sad that Karen's mother was tested positive of COVID-19. She messaged me and told me that her mother got it by being exposed to a COVID-19 patient in the hospital. She's a nurse, and they're being really careful. However, that still happened. Now I wonder how the virus gets transferred from one person to another. Do you have any idea, Mike?

Jenny, the transmission of COVID-19 can occur through direct, indirect, or close contact with infected people through infected secretions such as saliva and respiratory secretions or their respiratory droplets, which are expelled when an infected person coughs, sneezes, talks or sings.
