Objective: Identify the literary elemtents of setting, plot, character, conflict, and scene in literary works

There are mysteries that cannot be explained that have become legends over the years. Conduct research to learn the difference between a mystery and a legend. Identify an event that is both a mystery and a legend. Two examples are the Bermuda Triangle or the disappearance of Amelia Earhart.

1. Explain the difference between a mystery and a legend.

2. Create a list of at least five (5) of these proven and unproven beliefs about your chosen event.

3. Explain why each of the items in the list are proven or unproven.

4. Provide the resources you used in your report.

5. Explain how your mystery/legend contains the following literary elements:

a. Setting

b. Plot

c. Characters

d. Conflict

e. Scene
