Brian and Alex love anything that has sugar in it so they decided to do
an experiment involving sugar cubes. They wanted to see if the
condition of the cubes affected the amount of time for the cubes to
dissolve. They kept one sugar cube whole, they cut one cube in half,
and they crushed the third sugar cube. The partners put each sugar
sample in a clear plastic cup with 200 mL of hot water and timed how
long before the cubes dissolved. They repeated the experiment 2 more
times because their wonderful science teacher gave them 9 sugar
cubes.
