Sarah performed an experiment on the effect of steroids on the body weight of pigs. She used two groups of pigs of the same species and age with three (3) pigs in each group. She weighed all of the pigs at the beginning of the experiment. For the next 90 days one group of pigs received a daily injection of steroid, while the other group did not. The only difference between the groups was the steroid injections. After 90 days, Sarah weighed the pigs and recorded her results.
